Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on Quay Road, Charlestown. The house is constructed of stone rubble with red brick arches over the sash windows, which retain their glazing bars and exposed wooden frames. It has two storeys and three windows. A central, wide doorway is framed by glazed pilasters. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with slate, featuring rendered chimneys with moulded cornices. The building is included in the listing primarily for its contribution to the group value of numbers 2 to 16 Quay Road.
