Description
The gateway at the west entrance to the churchyard of St Odulphus is a 19th-century structure made of slatestone rubble, featuring granite elements. It includes a cast iron gate with a wrought iron overthrow. The gateway is flanked by two short walls, each approximately 1.5 meters high, with granite quoins on the outer sides. The top of the walls has granite settings for the wrought iron overthrow, which is topped with a 20th-century replacement lamp at the center. The single gate has a mid rail and trefoil finials on the top rail. There are five granite steps leading up to a cobbled path that runs between the walls.
