Description

Nos 72 and 74 on Bodmin Road is an early 19th-century toll house. It is built of colour-washed ashlar and has two storeys. The building features a splayed corner and a total of three windows. The windows are "Gothick" casements with lancet heads and glazing bars, although two of the first-floor windows are blocked. There is a central door with a lancet head and panels, and the roof is slate and hipped. Adjoining the toll house is a later gabled addition that is also two storeys tall, which includes one sash window and a Victorian shop front.
