Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of three houses located on Sydenham Road in Cotham, Bristol. The houses are built of limestone ashlar with lateral and party wall stacks, and have slate and concrete-tiled hipped roofs. They follow a double-depth plan and are designed in the Italianate style.

The terrace is three storeys high with a basement and has a six-window frontage. The end houses project forward and incorporate side porches, while a doorway is situated to the left of the central property—number 26. The ground floor is banded and sits beneath a plat band. The first floor features pilasters with capitals, a frieze, and deep eaves supported by paired brackets. The door surrounds have consoles supporting canopies, overlights, and six-panel doors. The windows are plain sashes with margin bars; the first floor windows are larger and have consoles to their cornices, while the second floor windows are smaller. The interior has not been inspected.
