Description

This early 19th-century house, now converted into flats, stands on Cheltenham Road in Bristol. It is constructed with roughcast render and limestone dressings, topped by a moulded parapet. The house follows a double-depth plan and is designed in a late Georgian style. The symmetrical facade features a semicircular arched doorway with a key stone and impost blocks, a plate-glass fanlight and reeded transom, and a six-panel door. It has a three-window arrangement, with 8/8-pane horned sash windows. Wrought-iron basket balconies are present on the first-floor windows on either side, with the central window being blind. The interior was reportedly remodelled and the staircase removed during conversion to flats.
