Description
A pair of attached houses located on Ninetree Hill, Bristol, dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are built of limestone ashlar with a rendered party wall and have a double-pile plan. They are constructed in the Gothic Revival style, with two storeys, a basement, and an attic. Each house has a two-window front. The symmetrical facade features paired gables flanking a shallow central buttress, and single-storey, parapeted entrance porches are positioned on either side. The doorways are arched with four-centred arches and contain 20th-century doors. The windows have moulded reveals, cinquefoil heads, and label moulds. The gables have paired windows with a 2/2-pane sash window to the ground floor on the left, and 20th-century casements. The rear elevation is similar, featuring 2/2-pane sashes and a 10/10-pane basement sash. The interior was not inspected.
