Description
Rose Villa is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed with a render over Pennant rubble and featuring brick dressings. It has a freestone porch, a brick stack on the left end, and a hipped valley roof covered with pantiles. The building has two storeys and single-storey wings, with a symmetrical front that includes a parapet and a central doorway fitted with a glazed 20th-century door and a small porch. The ground floor has low 6/6-pane sash windows with cambered heads, while the smaller first-floor sashes have flat heads. There are also late 20th-century French windows in the wings and a single sash window on the far left. The property has later extensions to the rear and side. Inside, there is a central hall, a dogleg stair, and fielded shutters. The entrance from the street features a doorway with plain Pennant jambs and lintels.
