Shop. c1875. Limestone ashlar, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. C20 shop fronts between pilasters with Romanesque capitals and a dentil cornice, first-floor string with palmettes, frieze, cornice and parapet; first-floor windows have set-back jambs and small moulded corners and inscribed keys; second-floors windows separated by pilasters, and have moulded imposts and heads incised with rocaille decoration; PLATNAUER BROTHERS inscribed on the parapet. INTERIOR not inspected. Part of a group of Victorian commercial buildings developed after Victoria Street was cut in 1872.
