Description
Sneyd Park Lodge is a lodge built around 1885 by Henry Dare Bryan. It is constructed from coursed, squared Pennant stone with limestone dressings, featuring stone ridge stacks and a hipped slate roof. The building showcases an eclectic late Victorian style that reflects the design of Sneyd Park House. The lodge has a T-shaped single-depth plan and is a single storey with a two-window range. It has clasping diapered pilasters on the right-hand and left return gables. The windows have chamfered reveals and cornices above plate-glass sashes. At the rear, there is a doorway with a six-panel door, and to the left, there is a small block with a hipped roof and a paired semicircular-arched window with glazing bars. The roof is adorned with palmette ridge tiles and stacks that have bracketed cornices. The interior has not been inspected. Additional features include an attached wall and balustrade at the front, along with diapered gate piers.
