Description

Drakes Cottage is a group of three attached houses, now functioning as one, dating from the late 18th century. The exterior features roughcast and squared Lias stone, with brick gable-end stacks and a pantile roof. The building has a single-depth plan and consists of two storeys with a symmetrical front, displaying a two-window range. Number 20 is set at right angles behind the left end of Number 18, constructed from Lias stone and accessed by steps leading up to a central door, with segmental arches above the 20th-century windows. Number 18 is roughcast and has small consoles supporting a canopy over its 20th-century door, along with 6/6-pane sash windows. The interiors have not been inspected.
