Description
This description is for a pair of lamp posts that flank the entrance to the Central Police Station in Bristol. They were constructed around 1928 and are made of cast iron. The lamp posts are positioned approximately 10 meters apart and 2 meters from the station. Each post features square bases and fluted shafts topped with a thick abacus. On either side of the abacus, there are lion heads that hold a ring, and the lamps themselves are made of white glass.
