Attached house. c1845. By Charles Underwood. Limestone ashlar, rendered sides, gable stacks and pantile roof. Double-depth plan. Neoclassical style. 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. Articulated by wide pilaster strips to a frieze band, the pedimented left-hand section is set forward; good left-hand single-storey porch has pilasters to corners and doorway, a parapet with fluted blocks over the pilasters, incised voussoirs to semicircular-arched doorway with a stained glass fanlight, and 2-leaf 6-panel door. Ground-floor windows have pilaster jambs to an entablature and pedimented panel, to 4/4-pane sashes, first- and second-floor sill bands and architraves to horned plate-glass sashes. Blind boxes. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front basement area iron railings.
