Description

A pair of attached shops and offices dating to around 1830, situated in Bristol. The building is constructed of painted ashlar, with a brick party wall and stacks, and has a roof that is not visible. It follows a double-depth plan and is built in a late Georgian style. The building is three storeys high, with a single window on each floor. It forms part of a terrace and features pilaster strips, a cornice, and a parapet. The ground-floor shop fronts are late 20th century replacements. The windows above have shallow recessed surrounds and contain sash windows with margin bars. The interior has not been inspected. The building is part of a continuous terrace incorporating numbers 1-4, and possibly involves a refacing of 18th-century buildings.
