Description
Redland Court Library is a library that has been converted into a school. It was built in 1735, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building was designed by John Strachan and is constructed from limestone ashlar, although the roof is not visible. It has a single-depth plan and is a single storey high, featuring a three-window range. The windows have blocked architraves and stepped keys that lead through a pulvinated frieze to a cornice above, similar to the central ground-floor of Redland Court. The left-hand end of the building is canted and also has three windows. The structure includes a cornice and a parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
