Description

Cote Lodge is an early 19th-century house located on Cote Lane in Stoke Bishop, Bristol. It is built of roughcast with limestone dressings, has roughcast end stacks, and a pantile roof. The house is designed in a late Georgian style and has a six-window range, divided into three sections, each slightly set back. The left-hand section is the most prominent and features a pedimented doorcase with triglyphs, a semicircular arched doorway, a plate-glass fanlight, and a six-panel door. The ground floor windows are casement cross-windows, while the first floor has six-pane sashes. The central section has a ground-floor canted bay with four cross windows, and the entire first floor contains six six-pane sash windows. A narrower three-storey right-hand section features small six-pane sashes. The interior remains uninspected.
