Description

The bridge at Stratford Mill, located in the Blaise Castle Estate, dates from around 1790. It is constructed of rubble and features two semicircular arches with a cutwater. The bridge has curved embankments on both sides and is topped with wrought-iron railings above the coping. This structure is part of the carriage drive designed by Humphry Repton as part of his landscape scheme for Blaise Castle House.
