Description
Field House and attached balustrade is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings and features a double-pile hipped pantile roof. The house has a double-depth plan and is designed in the late Georgian style, standing two storeys high with a basement and a three-window range. The symmetrical front includes clasping pilasters, a first-floor sill band, a cornice, and a parapet. There is an architrave and raised pediment above a recessed doorway that has a fanlight and a six-panel door, along with six-over-six pane sash windows. Inside, there is a central hall with a staircase that has stick balusters. The property also features an attached front area balustrade on the left-hand side.
