Description

Manor Cottage Stables, Coach House, and adjoining Manor Cottage are located to the north-west of Combe Hay Manor. The cottage dates from the late 17th century and has been converted into two flats. It is built of rubble with freestone dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof featuring coped raised verges. The building has two storeys and an attic with a 20th-century dormer. It features four windows, which are 3- and 2-light casements set in ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds. There is an off-centre plank door to the left in a chamfered surround.

Adjacent to Manor Cottage are the coach house and stable blocks, which were built in the late 18th century. These structures are made of ashlar and rubble with ashlar dressings, also covered by slate roofs with coped raised verges. The coach house, located on the left (west), has four slightly cambered doorways with two oval lights above. The stable block, which steps down on the right, is divided into two sections by quoins. The left section features two plank doors with Diocletian windows on the ground floor and three oval lights above, while the right section has a central plank door and two windows on each floor, similar to those on the left.
