Description
Vine Cottage is an outbuilding that was originally part of Sir John Harington's manor. It dates from the late 16th century to the early 17th century and has been remodelled. The structure is built of rubble and features a pantile roof with a large rubble chimney located off-centre to the right. The building has two storeys and three bays, with 20th-century two- and three-light casement windows. There is a 20th-century extension with a catslide roof on the right side, as well as 20th-century doors on both the left and right sides. The cottage is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
