Description

The Old Rectory is a mid-18th century rectory, later altered and extended in the early to mid-19th century, and now used as a private house. The building is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and has a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges, and a hipped slate roof over the west wing. The main block is three bays wide, with a projecting wing to the left which has paired sash windows with glazing bars, set within plain architraves and a ground floor cornice. A canted bay window is located to the right. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a fanlight and an open pediment supported by brackets.
