Description
A raised pavement with railings fronting Cavendish Crescent, dating from 1815 to 1830. This wide terrace of pennant stone features steps leading down to Cavendish Road, opposite numbers 2 and 3. Simple railings are present where the ground slopes. A forecourt to number 1, the highest point of the terrace, is enclosed by closer, similar railings. The pavement’s foundation is of ashlar, and the railings are cast iron.
