Description

This railway bridge, built around 1840 for the Great Western Railway, is located 10 metres east of No. 35 on Box Road in Bathford. Designed by engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the bridge features ashlar stonework and a single segmental arch, which is adorned with channelled voussoirs and a keystone. It also includes a parapet and flanking approach walls.
