Description

The gatepiers and gates to Whitehaven, located off Bathford Hill in Bathford, date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from rusticated ashlar and feature moulded caps. At the top of the gatepiers, there are wreaths and crests, which possibly depict a heraldic wolf.
