Description

Wildacre is a pair of houses located on Entry Hill, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The buildings are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature pantile roofs. They are set back from the road and do not have a straight frontage. Wildacre has an added bay on the left side and a rear parallel range with a central valley to the main block.

The exterior of Wildacre is two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor that are four-pane sashes. The ground floor has a deep two-light casement with transoms and a 20th-century door to the left, situated under a transom light. The roof features three coped gables, a cavetto cornice, a blocking course, and a parapet, with a stack on the left side. The left gable has a two-light casement above an added flat-roofed porch, and the rear range has a cornice and parapet, with glazing bar sashes on the first floor.

No. 58, positioned at an angle to No. 2, has two plain sashes above a single central sash, with a 20th-century door to the left under a transom light. It features a plain cornice, a blocking course, and a parapet, along with a wide coped gabled return that sweeps down to the rear, complete with a small stack. The interiors have not been inspected, and earlier work may be concealed within.
