Description
This building is a barn and granary located opposite Lower Shockerwick Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and late 19th century. The barn is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof featuring coped raised verges. It has a traditional layout with opposing porches and likely consists of five bays with a tie-beam roof. The granary, situated about 10 yards to the southeast, is built on piers with ashlar and has a slate roof that also features coped raised verges and finials, with a door located at the east end.
