Description

Lorraine House and Haisbro House are a double-depth plan dwelling dating from the 18th century, with a projecting rear wing. The house was later sub-divided into two separate dwellings during the 20th century. The building is constructed from limestone ashlar with asbestos slate roofs. The front façade features two stories and three bays, with two-by-two sash windows, triple on the front, featuring arched heads and stone mullions, and louvred shutters on the upper floor. An arched stone entrance porch sits at the front. The roofline is triple-gabled with deep, projecting eaves. Six corniced ashlar stacks of varying heights are present. The rear elevation is largely blank, with smaller windows than are found on the front. The interior has not been inspected.
