Description
The structure consists of an arch, walls, and a gate located in front of No. 9 on Bathwick Hill. It features an ashlar arch and walls, along with a wrought iron gate. The semicircular arch is approximately 4 meters high and includes a keystone, an impost band, a cornice, and a blocking course that rises from the sides to a central panel. The flanking walls slope down from the arch to about 1.5 meters high, extending approximately 15 meters to the left and about 25 meters to the right. The gate is designed with long and short railings that have arrowheads and an inverted semicircle at the top rail.
