Description

Hillbrook House, formerly known as White Lodge, is an early 19th-century building located in Hurstpierpoint. It is two storeys high and features three windows. The exterior is stuccoed, with the ground floor having a rusticated finish. A stringcourse runs along the building, and it has a wide eaves cornice. The hipped slate roof complements the overall design. The windows are fitted with Venetian shutters and retain their glazing bars. A porch with fluted Doric columns and a triglyph frieze leads to a round-headed doorway, which includes a semi-circular fanlight and a panelled door. A later wing has been added to the north side of the house.
