Description

Elm House is a house from the early 19th century located on London Road in Hurstpierpoint. The building is stuccoed and features a pitched roof that is now concealed by a parapet at the front, although it has been replaced with 20th-century pantiles and has end brick chimneystacks. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. It includes a cornice and a parapet. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows, while the ground floor features splayed bays with mid-19th-century glazing. There is a narrow and shallow solid porch with a wreathed frieze.
