Description

The forecourt walls and piers of Wykehurst Park were built around 1870 and designed by architect E M Barry. The structure features a stone balustrade made up of turned balusters. At the north-west and south-east corners, there are carriage entrances flanked by square pillars topped with domes and figures of eagles. On either side of these entrances, there are wrought iron gates for pedestrian access, accompanied by small piers on the outer sides that are topped with ball caps.
