Description

Nos 1 and 2 on Church Lane are a medieval timber-framed hall house that was refaced in the 18th century. The ground floor is finished with red brick, while the upper floor is tile hung. The building has a hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the south side. It features casement windows and stands two storeys tall with five windows in total. Three of the first-floor windows have been extended to create dormers. Inside, there is a crown post roof.
