Description

Chantry Green House is an L-shaped, early 16th century timber-framed building with red brick infilling. The south-west front was refaced in 1705. It has two storeys and features three windows with alternating red brick and grey headers. A brick stringcourse and a wooden eaves cornice are present, along with a Horsham slab and tiled roof. The glazing bars are intact, and there is a doorway with a wide flat hood supported by brackets. In the centre of the north-east front, there is a tall narrow gabled T-projection that contains the staircase and is faced in brick. An early 19th century section has been added in the angle of the L. Inside, there is panelling.
