Description

The South East Lodges of Warnham Court School, built in 1828, are a good example of Tudor Gothic architecture. Constructed from ashlar, they feature a Horsham slab roof. A prominent round-headed carriage archway spans the drive, and above it is a room with two tall, rectangular windows and a cartouche between. A shaped gable sits above this feature. Flanking the archway are lodges, each of two storeys and three windows. These lodges have bays of five-light windows on both floors, incorporating stone mullions and a crested parapet. Shaped gables topped with finials complete the lodges’ design.
