Description
The Water Tower at the former Warnham Lodge is a Grade II listed structure that was part of a large mansion designed by Batterbury and Huxley in 1894, most of which was demolished in 1961. The tower is square in shape and features a circular stair turret attached to it. It stands six storeys tall and is constructed of red brick, with stone stringcourses. Notable architectural elements include machicolation above the fourth floor, a clock face, and a modillion eaves cornice. The tower is topped with an elaborate tiled pyramidal roof that has a curve to it, and there are gabled louvres on each side.
