Newman’s Cottage is a two-storey building, originally two cottages and now combined into one. It was built in 1776. The construction incorporates both sandstone and red brick, with a tiled roof. The windows are casements featuring diamond-shaped panes. A doorway is topped by a flat hood supported on brackets.
