Description

Hawksbourne Farmhouse is a 16th or 17th century timber-framed house. It has an L-shaped layout and was later refaced with red brick, featuring grey headers on the ground floor, and roughcast plaster above. A slight bellcast is visible between the upper elements. The house has gables on each wing, decorated with carved bargeboards and pendants. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs. Casement windows are present, and a gabled porch is situated at the angle of the L-shape. The house extends to two storeys, with an attic within the gables. It has two windows on the front elevation.
