Description
Newells Farm Cottage, originally a farmhouse from the 17th century, is now divided into two cottages. The building has two storeys and features three windows. It has a half-H-shaped layout, with the front covered in roughcast, the south side in ashlar, and the back in red brick on the ground floor, with weatherboarding above. There are slight projections at each end of the front, each topped with a gable that has scalloped bargeboards. The windows include some casement types, but mostly sash windows with intact glazing bars. A 19th-century gabled porch is present, along with two west wings located behind the main structure.
