Description

Laurel Cottage is a former farmhouse that has been converted into two cottages, dating from the 17th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a roof covered in corrugated iron over thatch. It stands two storeys high and has a three-cell layout. The front features two windows with old casements, a boarded door on the left, and a half-glazed four-panel door on the right. There is a central axial stack with an original red brick shaft that has a recessed square panel at the front. Additionally, there are small one-storey additions, including one that is set forward to the left. Most of the timbers in the left-hand cottage are concealed, and the interior of the right-hand cottage has not been examined.
