Description

Mockford is an L-shaped building that has been converted into two cottages, known as Nos 1 and 2. It dates back to the 17th century or earlier and features a timber frame with red brick infilling. The south front is tile-hung, and the roof is made of Horsham slabs, although the south side of the east wing has been replaced with slate. The building has curved braces and a gable end on the east wing, while the north wing has a half-hipped gable end. There are casement windows throughout the structure, which stands two storeys tall and has five windows in total.
