Description

The Old Place is an L-shaped block of cottages that has been converted into one house. It dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with the north wing likely being the oldest part. The building has two storeys, featuring four windows on the south side and six on the east side. The south-west wing is constructed with coursed stone and red brick dressings, including quoins, while the east wall reveals exposed timber framing with flint infilling. The north-east wing is faced with flints and red brick dressings. The roof is thatched and includes two "eyebrows" on the south front and four on the east front. The windows are casement style.
