Description

The Chequers Hotel is a building that dates from the 18th century or earlier and features some modern additions. It has two storeys and three windows, with a stuccoed exterior and an ashlar parapet. The roof is slate, and the first floor has casement windows, while the ground floor retains sash windows with intact glazing bars. There is a trellised wooden porch at the entrance. Modern additions made of stone or brick are present on the east, west, and north sides of the building.
