Description

Ancaster House, located at Ancaster Place, is a building that dates from around 1900 for its front portion. The west wall features exposed timbering with a curved brace, along with infilling of red brick and stone. Behind this front section, there is an 18th-century range constructed of red brick and stone. The front facade is made of ashlar with red brick dressings and has a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and includes a large round-headed doorway and six windows.
