Description

The Rectory is a large late 18th-century building, reflecting the historical wealth of the Pulborough parish. It has undergone alterations, including the removal of a later attic storey and demolition of part of the east wing, which served as a service area. The main building is two storeys high with nine windows across the facade. It is constructed of ashlar and features a parapet. The original glazing bars remain intact. The facade is arranged in two bays of three windows each on both floors. A small porch is positioned centrally, featuring a doorway with a moulded architrave surround topped by a pediment, and a door comprised of eight fielded panels. A recessed wing with two windows extends from the main block, with a lower elevation to the east.
