Description

Codmore House is an L-shaped building located on London Road in Pulborough. The north wing dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber frame, although its east front has been refaced with ashlar. The timber framing with plaster infilling is visible on the first floor of the west front, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. The front wing is from the early 19th century. The building has two storeys and three windows, constructed of ashlar with a hipped slate roof and an eaves cornice. The glazing bars are intact, and there are Venetian shutters. A modern wooden porch has been added.
