Description
Blakes Farmhouse is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. It has an L-shaped layout. The west wing has been refronted with red brick, but the original timber frame with plaster infilling is visible on the east and north faces of the north wing. The roof is tiled; the west wing’s roof is hipped and steeply pitched. The windows are casement type. The west-facing elevation has two windows, and the south-facing elevation has two windows.
