Description

Rookland Farmhouse is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th century or earlier, with red brick infilling. It has an L-shaped plan. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs, with the rear portion refaced with tiles. A pentice extends along the west and south sides. Gables are positioned at the angle of the wings, and at the south end of the east front of the north wing. Casement windows are present throughout. A chimney breast is located at the north end. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has five windows.
