Description

Denne Park House is a large house situated on Picts Hill, Horsham Rural. The original section, located in the north-east corner, was constructed in 1605, with this date inscribed on the tower. It is a three-storey building with three windows, topped by a Horsham slab stone roof. The windows have square heads and are fitted with stone mullions and transoms, and the original section is distinguished by three gables surmounted by pinnacles. A four-storey tower, containing a good contemporary staircase, is situated to the north. Around 1870, the house was significantly enlarged to the south and west in a matching architectural style. The present main or west front is entirely from this later period. The building is now used as flats.
