Description

The archway to the south-west of Farlington School, originally part of the stables of Strood Park, dates from the 18th century. It features a tall sandstone round-headed design with a modillion eaves cornice and a slate roof. On the outer side, there are double gates, while a lunette window is located above the arch on the inner side. The archway was once flanked by stable buildings, which have since been converted into classrooms and altered, and are no longer considered of special interest.
