Description
The main building at Farlington School, formerly known as Strood Park, is a Grade II listed structure. The south front, which faces the garden, features four bays. The two central bays date back to the 16th century, while the outer bays were replaced in the 18th century with curved bays. The entire front is now faced with cement and has a balustrade on the roof. The 16th-century bays are three storeys high, each with one casement window on every floor. The 18th-century curved bays are two storeys tall but match the height of the central bays, each featuring three sash windows with intact glazing bars. The entrance front is entirely from the 18th century, consisting of two storeys, four windows, and three stringcourses, along with a balustraded parapet and a wide porch with a balustraded parapet.
