Description

Hillsgreen is an L-shaped cottage, built in the 17th century or earlier, featuring a timber-framed structure with painted brick infilling. The roof is made of Horsham slabs. The cottage has casement windows and stands two storeys high with an attic. At the north end of the front, there is a gable that oversails on the first floor, which includes an attic window. The building has three windows in total, and a dormer was added by Sir Herbert Baker in 1935.
